Section 2.1
Setup
Physical setup of both racks, all cable connections, antenna installation, and network patching. Complete all steps before powering on any equipment.

Stage Rack Setup
D-PRI vs D-SEC
Always use the D-PRI (Dante Primary) port for the network connection between the Stage Rack and AV Ops Rack. D-SEC is pre-patched but not in use at this stage.

| Position the Stage Rack in its designated location on stage. | |
| Connect the Tio1608-D to the Netgear M4250 using a blue (Dante) Ethercon cable — use the D-PRI port on both devices. | |
| Connect all microphone and instrument inputs using colour-coded cables. Match the cable colour to the panel label colour. | |
| Connect the PSM300 IEM transmitters to the Tio1608-D outputs (IEM-1 and IEM-2). | |
| Connect wired IEM outputs (IEM-5 through IEM-8) to the Radial DAN-RX2 units. | |
| Connect the IEC power cable (white) to the Stage Rack power board. |

AV Ops Rack Setup

| Position the AV Ops Rack at the FOH position. | |
| Install the Shure UA874 RF paddle antennas — connect to the SLX-D receivers using purple RF cables. | |
| Connect the Wi-Fi and Cellular antennas to the Teltonika RUTXR1 router. | |
| Connect the FOH speaker outputs (red cables) from the Tio1608-D outputs to the FOH speakers. | |
| Connect the IEC power cable (white) to the AV Ops Rack power board. |

Network Cable Between Racks
D-PRI Only
The D-SEC port is pre-patched but not in use. Do not use D-SEC for the primary network connection.

Pre-Power-On Final Checks
Mute Before Power-On
Always confirm mutes are in place before powering on. This prevents loud pops or feedback when the system initialises.

| Verify all cables are securely connected and routed safely. | |
| Confirm all input channels are muted on the TF3 (individual channel mutes). | |
| Confirm all DCA groups are muted (DRUMS, GUITARS, KEYS, VOCALS, BAND, SPEECH, MEDIA, FX). | |
| Confirm the ST Master fader is at unity (0 dB) but FOH speaker outputs are muted. |
